I just installed Amahi and setup a username/password and have done some configuring to my server. I just updated a shared folder via the dashboard, and now every time I try to log in, it is giving me a username/password error. I just need to know how to manually reset the password for the server.
Thanks.
PW is not working
Re: PW is not working
It would be interesting to know what happened here.
Do you recall what you did to somehow (possibly) cause this?
The only thing I can think of is that you modified/deleted some users' access permissions?

Re: PW is not working
Hi. I just installed amahi on a laptop (my first time install) and I tried to log in to the server but for the life of me I can't remember my log in or password. I need to discover what it is or manually reset it. It looks like this has been floating around for 2 years with no response. I hope someone picks this up and can lets us know what to do. Thanks
Re: PW is not working
Is this Fedora or Ubuntu? If you just installed Amahi, then the user name and password are what you set on in the OS install.

Re: PW is not working
Thanks Bigfoot for the quick reply. I guess I wasn't clear. I have remembered what I used for log in and password so I think I pulled to trigger too soon! I installed ubuntu 12.04. Thanks again.
Re: PW is not working
Ok, so I presume this is resolved.
