Second Linux based newbie question

Postby fatboy » Wed Mar 31, 2010 9:22 am

Hi all.

After a bit more advice - I have got Amahi working fine and have just installed ushare so I can stream music etc through my Xbox360.

However, after moving some files to the shares and trying to issue the 'service amahi-ushare restart' command I get the following error:

Code: Select all

service amahi-ushare restart umount: /var/hda/apps/ushare/files: device is busy.
It then mentions lsof and fuser - thats out of my depth!

The SSH window then freezes and no amount of ^C will get it back!

Any advice appreciated - thanks

Have you tried restarting through the dashboard? Go to Apps > Servers> Ushare (click on the bar so that it opens) and click restart. See if that works for you.

A few machine reboots sorted it - not sure what the problem was.......
Ah well, all working now!
