Hey all - been using Amahi for a few days and its brilliant so thanks!

Anyway, I have 2 drives in the PC but Amahi appears to be only using one of them - how do I get Amahi to see and use the second drive?

Any pointers appreciated :)

Ryan

You can follow guidance here http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Adding_ ... o_your_HDAto add a second hard drive to your installation.

If you need further assistance, feel free to stop by the IRC or post here.

Thanks for the fast reply - if I want to use the second drive to add space to the original shares what is the best way to go?

At the moment I have all shares on a 200Gb drive.
The second drive is also 200Gb so I want to 'merge' them together to have 400Gb of space available to HDA and its shares.

Thanks (and apologies for the numpty questions!)

Well, the best way to pool your drives together is with a new app in testing called Greyhole. IWe do not have a release date at the moment.

I have my second drive added as /var/hda/files which holds all my shares. One thing you might try is add the second drive as /var/hda/files/drive2 and then create shares on it via the hda front end. You would for instance create a share called Test and the path for it would be /var/hda/files/drive2/Test.

This would give the flexibility to choose which drive you add your shares too, but manually. Hope that helps.
