SOLVED: PuTTY Fatal Error
Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
Ya I tried it both ways already. I have a feeling it's something to do with a network or computer setting more than PuTTY, as in there is something preventing the connection from completing. I also tried KiTTY with the same results.

Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
Maybe try it without the keys and enter the user name and password if prompted you created when installing Fedora 21.

Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
Did you manage to use Putty?
I have exactly the same problem here and have found no solution.

Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
Interesting that 2-3 users are having issues with Putty. I am checking now to see if there is something upstream from Fedora that may be causing this issue.
Also there is a new version of Putty that was released yesterday. Recommend you update and try to see if that helps.
EDIT: BTW I updated the wiki guidance to reflect the preferred way for setting up SSH via key-based logins.

Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
We have found the problem causing SSH not to work with the recent Fedora 21 Mininal Install.
See Amahi Bug #1871 for the work around which should be accomplished prior to installing Amahi 8.
This is something caused by Fedora 21 upstream updates to the SSH package. Hopefully they will resolve it soon, but until then the work around above should restore SSH access to your machine.

That worked great for me.

Awesome!
Hopefully Fedora will recognize the error of their ways and correct this issue

Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
Okay so how do I accomplish this after I have installed Amahi? Do I have to go back and reinstall Fedora 21, do this "fix" then reinstall Amahi?

Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
You have to log in your hda first (local machine, not via remote like putty)
then all you have to do the commands in Amahi Bug #1871.

Re: PuTTY Fatal Error
YAY!!! Finally got it! Thanks for running this to ground, much appreciated.
Now, on a related note, what is the compelling reason to add the public and private keys? Logging in is really no big deal to me.
