Can't see Network

Can't see Network

Hi am new to Linux and Amahi, my problem is I cant see my server on my network from a mac or windows base pc, do I have to login to see my files or should they be seen like a Nas config ?
if so can someone please explain to me in nob's 1st time format please

You can configure the HDA and client machines to share the same workgroup. Also, by entering \\hda from the run as box, you will see the shares.

Are the client in "WORKGROUP"? In Windows it should be the default workgrounps name.
My second idea : Have u disabled/restartet ur Clients after Amahi install?

Is DHCP in ur Router ON?
Have u tried to "ping" the 192.168.1.10?
