Control Panel Showing Awaiting Install

Hi guys,
sorry about what may be a silly question but got to start somewhere...

I have installed Amahi no probs, everything seems to work ,can access through http://hda, access all the shares etc but I noticed that when I access the web control panel it still says "awaiting install" and the associated lack of ip address, etc.

I am assuming that it may be something to do with me as I installed the system with the original installation code, then accidentally deleted the profile within the control panel and had to recreate. This then gave me a new code and I'm guessing that it is still waiting for that code to be activated to update the control panel. Am I right in this assumption? If so what can be done to rectify the situation? Do I have reinstall and start again or is there some fix that I couldn't find?

It wouldn't normally bother me but I am also hoping to set up the VPN side of things and read that you can test it from the control panel? Well obviously can't do that until the thing registers that Amahi is installed.

oh and sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I am a noob and I know little about networking which is why I migrated towards Amahi and its ease of setup.
