router recommendation ?

I am thinking about replacing my netgear WPN824v2 router since I am not able to figure out my VPN issue. Any recommendation on which router should I buy ?

I have a linksys one for my wifi and an old linksys for my firewall.

Both running openwrt, because someone here recommended it, but you can have both the firewall and access point all in one with most other routers.

Now, I would be surprised if your router does not let you forward a simple UDP port to your HDA for the VPN!
