I'm a newbie to linux and Amahi.
I installed Fedora 12 and Amahi 5.0-1, Core 3.0-1. I have disable DHCP in my router.
I have several computers in the house. Mac snow leopord, XP, and Vista. I have tried to access the server using http://hda/ on all the machines. Vista is the only one that works. I can access the shares from the XP machine and mac but not hda.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
Can't access /hda
Re: Can't access /hda
dave, you do need to "refresh" the lease of the machines - as in, release it, and renew it, to make *sure* they do get their DHCP from the hda.

Re: Can't access /hda
Sorry for the ignorance. How do I accomplish the 'release' and 'renew' of the IP address?
I didn't mention it in the original post but I tried rebooting the XP machine to no avail.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Can't access /hda
Weird. Try using the full url: http://hda.home.com (assuming home.com is your domain)
