Just wondering if I could install a USB to become a boot disk and then use 6 other NAS disks to become a RAID 6 local network storage. What I basically want is to be able to kick my server computer to life, throw whatever garbage I want into it without needing to interact with the server further and potentially shut it down afterwards, repeat as necessary.
Its possible Amahi is not the solution I want, just checking in.

Re: Question regarding USB boot disk with additional HDD storage
No Amahi is not the solution for this sort of setup.
You need a dedicated hard disk drive for Amahi to work correctly.
You might try something like FreeNAS.
