CLOSED: How to Install Apps

Hi,

Just installed Amahi and hit my first issue I cant see how to install an app, I have the link to the Apps Store, I have selected OwnCloud and there is no install button as far as I can see (I can however see a $0.00 which takes me to purchasing credit).

Also when I goto http://[IP Address]/tab/apps it tells me there are no applications available at this time.

Most apps are installed from the HDA location specified above. Those with a convenience fee require you to log into the web site and purchase them. Then once complete, a refresh of Available Apps on the HDA will reflect the app purchased.

Likely your issue is a networking problem. Recommend you check out the Troubleshooting page in the wiki.

Thanks, but that hasn't helped much, can you tell me how I install an App as when I goto an App (I have checked that I am logged in), I can see no where on the page for the app where there is anyway to install!

I have tried the troubleshooting page, but cant see anything close to what I am experiencing.

Apps are not installed from amahi.org web site.

On the HDA go to Available Apps. Select the app to expand to expose the Install button. If you don't see any apps then you have a networking issue which prevents the app list from being displayed.

the apps at amahi.org not all of them are in hda because some are still in beta
