Total Noob here...
For the life of me i can not get Amahi Sync to work. The Control Panel states "Add folders by enabling a share in your HDA to be available online." How is this done? In the Public share file i put the location to "http://nameofhda.amahi.me/public" & http://nameofhda.yourhda.com/public & several versions of both. What could i possibly be doing wrong?

Amahi Sync ?
Re: Amahi Sync ?
The Public folder should already be present. It's important that the folder name is Public and not public. Once that is verified, you can then do as root user:
Code: Select all
systemctl start amahi-sync

Re: Amahi Sync ?
Bigfoot,
In my efforts to make Sync work, i have deleted the Public folder. I added it back making sure the P is Capped. What should the location be pointed to? Is this a special file location. I have uninstalled Sync and started over thinking that would do it and a new Public file would populate the share but it did not happen. This should be as easy as dragging files to the Public folder for this to work, correct?

Re: Amahi Sync ?
If you have the folder created as /var/hda/files/Public, then ensure you create the share in the dashboard. It should point to that location and be called Public.
Once that is done, as root user do (or sudo):
Check amahi-sync log for details of what is happening:

systemctl restart amahi-sync

tail -f /var/log/amahi-sync.log

Re: Amahi Sync ?
How about this. Submit a bug report describing your issue. Then our developer can take a look.
Best to go this route vs email.
