Ok, recommend you uninstall. Reboot, then reinstall. Check the log file for errors.
Uninstall plex or amahi?

Yeah though about that after the fact. I uninstall and installed. But still don't have permission.

I was reading so other thread said something about update yum. I did then I tried reinstall plex but nothing happens.

So I was able to do

Yum update

yum clean metadata

yum clean all

yum clean expire-cache

yum --reinstall amahi-plex

And it did reinstalled plex.

Tried login in to plex and I still get, don't have permission.

What command do i use to update plex. I downloaded the from plex site and saved it to hda/doc.

You think updating might fix it.

In the wiki it says to navagate to directory I have it saved but I don't know how. Thanks

If you are using the Amahi Plex Media Server app, you cannot update from the Plex web site.

You can only install the Amahi app and use it as is. The update feature in the app itself does not work with Amahi.

If you are trying to use the version on the Plex web site, we cannot assist you.

If you are using the app only, please provide the text from the /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file so I can see what it shows for the install process. You are using Amahi 7 with Fedora 19, correct?

I tried /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log. tells me permission denied. I just tried it 5 min ago

You may have to check it with elevated priviliges (i.e. sudo).

Yea I probably should have suggested that earlier.

Glad you got it working though. Will close this one as SOLVED.
