won't accept password, didn't set password
i have installed amahi, 2 times with user name and password and once without setting a user pass, on each occasion after installation complete and rebooted, amahi asks for a localhost user pass and won't accept password, i'm stumped what its looking for, can't even type password, anyone else had this prob or is it just me, 3 fresh installs same prob with each one
Re: won't accept password, didn't set password
Recommend when you install you create a professors and user with password.
Your issue is not common.
Are you following the guidance at http://docs.amahi.org?

Re: won't accept password, didn't set password
hi i've gone over it and over it, disabled dchp, it still won't work, the server might have the wrong ip but i can't go back and change it, without reinstalling and getting a new number and setting up a new email address etc, i might try one more time before going for ubuntu server with a gui, i also noticed the installation sequence is different if you reinstall over an old install, thats not helping either

Restarting might be best. Here's what you need to know:
- Ensure the HDA profile on amahi.org reflects the IP address of the server (needs to be 99 or less). You can delete the profile and recreate it if needed. No need to register another email address or create another account.
- Recommend you only go with Fedora 19. Ubuntu is in maintenance mode, so no Amahi or app updates.
- If you want a desktop, recommend you check out Fedora 19 USB install. Although not supported, I have tested this several times with no issues.
- Ensure you follow the guidance in the wiki or http://docs.amahi.org if using the Express DVD.
I am happy to assist.

Can you elaborate what you mean here?i also noticed the installation sequence is different if you reinstall over an old install, thats not helping either
