help with apps: calendar and couch potato

Postby deLorenzo » Sat Feb 08, 2014 4:00 pm

Hi, I apologize for the know nothing newness...
I've installed, have DNLA installed and working, so I think I'm ok.

A few questions:
I can't do anything with calendar or couch potato, when I click on them mozzilla firefox opens a duplicate window for dashboard.

I've been trying the interactive network troubleshooter, but when I try to type nslookup hda into the putty window, I get an error "command not found"
I'm at a prompt [root@localhost...]

I'm very confused about apps in general....I'd even appreciate some links that I could read?

Thanks,
Greg de Lorenzo

Check out the wiki. There is a plethora of guidance there to help solve problems.

If apps are not working, recommend you check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log for errors.
