Can't get connected to the HDA desktop from my Mac using VNC Viewer in Chrome.
I entered the IP address for the HDA using port 4, everything seems good
until it tries to authenticate, once there it just hangs up with the spinning icon
Using the one click install of VNC on the HDA, server is running.
Help
thanks in advance
Jeff
RESOLVED: VNC Help
Re: VNC Help
Hi Jeff,
Hmm. One suggestion is to see if the VNC server is running. If you are comfortable using SSH, you can go in and type:
ps guax | grep vnc
Also, not that this helps fixing any issue, but did you try uninstalling the app and installing it?

Re: VNC Help
I checked in servers and saw that the VNC server was running, so I disabled
watchdog, shut down the server, restarted, reenabled watchdog, and still
the same issue. Haven't tried reinstalling VNC on the HDA yet, I'll try that
next.
I put a monitor and keyboard onto the hda so I could access the HDA, so if
there's any command line stuff in need to try I'm able to do it

Re: VNC Help
I reinstalled the vnc app, server is running, now it's not accepting my password
through the client app. I should be using the password for the HDA, right?

Re: VNC Help
No, check the special instructions for the app. It tells you the password and how to change it.
Go to Apps->Installed->VNC and expand the box. You will see the guidance there.
