Mounting shares locally

Hello Team I am a little slow with linux and a new amahi user. I want to mount my shares locally to be able to use the trasmission app and have the download transfer directly to one of my shares. The issue i am having i don't understand how to mount the shares locally even after reading the wiki. Can someone please give me step by step dummies direction how to mount my shares? Thanks in advance for your support.
