HDA shares v setting shares via setting sharing on ubuntu

HDA shares v setting shares via setting sharing on Ubuntu

When I set shares on the ubunto, the shares show up on Windows 7 under the HDA folder but not on the Shares app on the Amahi.

Is the Amahi shares setting in effect just another way of setting the shares on the Ubuntu machine?

Not sure I understand. When you first install Amahi, you need to access the shares tab to ensure the shares are there. Then you can add or remove as needed.
