Get data off non booting install

Hi Everyone,

I seem to have broken my Amahi install playing with permissions. How can I get my couchpotato wanted list off the old HDD and transfer it to my new, bigger and better server?

The old express CD no GUI install will boot, but can't load a bunch of services and won't connect to a network so I can't just boot it up and suck the data off that way. I have the HDD in an external caddy, but there is no file system on there, just a heap of images and files with no extension.

Recommend using a Live CD, which will give you connectivity. You should be able to access the drive and get what you need off of it.
