Cant see new createt folders on my hda. Pictures inside :)

I have learned so much in the past 2 days but get confues too.

My Windows 7 pc show my Hda with all folders and files. i can create a user with permissions for me and one for my girlfrend with own folders. that works....What i want is that i can create a User (for my Sister fe) with his own folders. He can reach the folders with the url .....yourhda.com

i createt a user with "test" and logged in with my Android tab over the internet 3G. But i cant see the folders like on my windows 7 pc. The Amahi search show me only 4 empty folders. Can i refresh the list maueally or can do something else? or does my idea not work?

Are these 2 different things? Create folders with permissions work on network but the amahi search doesnt show anything. I hope you can understand me. I decided to write in the forum because im very confues now with all the commands an linux

To allow access to folders outside your network, you will need to use VPN. There are a few options, depending on the client.

I would recommend installing OpenVPN ALS and then exposing that outside your network.

Then users can log in and access only shares you give them the permissions. It also is fairly secure, so without proper login credentials, no one can get in.
