Amahi and external USB NTFS hard drives

If I install Amahi on a PC can I plug in and use (read and write) some external USB hard drives that I have which are already formatted NTFS and have data on that I don't want to lose or do I have to reformat them first? How many extrnal drives will Amahi handle?

Yes that is possible. To find out how many drives can be used, need to check the Fedora page. Amahi does not determine hardware capabilities, that is the OS.
