I am currently running WHS and am looking to convert.
An issue I had with WHS was with streaming to a networked media tank (popcorn hour) 1080p .MKV files with HD Audio would have video stuttering issues on a wired gigabit network. To solve the issue I installed Microsoft Services for Unix and on the WHS and created NFS shares and then the movies streamed fine. Greyhole uses Samba will I also be able to use NFS Shares?
And also I like the full system backups in WHS is there a similiar utility for Fedora/Amahi?
Lastly the install instructions say to use v14 of Fedora, should a newer version be used and is the 64 bit version OK?

Re: Streaming and Backup questions
Hi sritter,
You should be able to use NFS, http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/NFS
However, I do not have any issues streaming HD movies to my HTPC from my Greyhole storage pool using samba. So try that out first!
Regarding backups, here's your answer: http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Backups
The latest version that Amahi supports is Fedora 14, so install using the Fedora DVD or Amahi Express CD.
I'm running 64 bit myself.
