Hi,
I've been installing Apache (on port 8081) and before that I had SabNzbd (on port 8080) running.
Now when I restarted by home server, I cannot open the dashboard anymore.
On Amahi.org, the status of my HDA is OK.
DLNA app is also working, shares are OK, only the dashboard doesn't seem to be running.
Browser says: "Unable to connect".
Any idea what's wrong?
Any idea where I can look, which log files to open to see what is wrong?
Can't open Dashboard
Re: Can't open Dashboard
Sounds like your modification of apache on port 80 is causing the issue. Not a good idea to change these things. SABnzbd can be run on any port, so no need to change the web server.
If you installed Apache, that could be part of the issue as well. Apache is installed by default with Fedora 14 and Amahi.
Recommend you put things back to the way it was when you installed Amahi. Also, we have a test version of SABnzbd+ 0.6.5 that you could try.

Re: Can't open Dashboard
Thanks.
Well, indeed it is very likely related to Apache, but I've put Apache intentionally on 8081 so Amahi wouldn't be disturbed.
SabNzbd was already running for some time on 8080, that was no problem.
So I don't understand what's going wrong.
Apache was already installed, I only added the GUI configuration component (don't know the name anymore)
But end up not using it.
Anyway, if Amahi fails to load its webserver, wouldn't it write an error message somewhere in a log file?
So where can I find this log file?

Re: Can't open Dashboard
Most log files are located in /var/log. Check the .conf files /etc/httpd/conf.d as they probably show port 80 versus 8081 as you are using. That may be the problem.

Re: Can't open Dashboard
OK, I see what I did wrong.
I've changed the port in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf to 8081 because I was thinking this Apache was not used by Amahi.
So that killed it indeed.
OK, changing the port back solves the problem of the Dashboard not being accessible.
But how can I now make my directory webserver available?
