Hi
I'm very confused (easily it seems!)
What different passwords do I have...
1. The Amahi Forum
2. When I browse to http://username.yourhda.com
3. The Amahi/Fedora box (with two user IDs the same showing when I boot up)
4. Applications have user ID/passwords too
Which of the above are the same or can they all be different? For #2 above I have no idea now. Maybe I need to start over again... reinstall!!
Password Confusion!
Re: Password Confusion!
Update!
When I browse to:
http://user.yourhda.com
I just read the password entry dialogue text. It is asking me for my netgear router password... why is that? (Network noob here you see...)

Re: Password Confusion!

I must admit I'm a bit disappointed on first impression. All those passwords, if you want to change ip you have to reinstall, etc...

Re: Password Confusion!
Check the IP address of your hda. Does it have the same IP address as your router?
For example, my router is 192.168.1.1 and my hda is 192.168.1.10.
I've never seen your problem, but I imagine you might get a symptom like that if they were the same.
Do you have other computers on your network and can they access outside websites ok?
I'm guessing you have a configuration problem somewhere.
