Amahi Self Update

Postby lokie » Mon Dec 20, 2010 9:49 am

Hi,

When I installed Amahi I had to use the existing install method, as adding the repositories crashed the installer (im guessing a compatibility issue with my NC).

As the repositories are not added I presume that Amahi will not self update. Is there a way to command Amahi to update manually, or to add the repositories in so it will self update?

Thanks,
Lachlan

If you followed the wiki for existing install, then you do have the Amahi repo. The autoupdate is already in place. If you want to check updates, as root user do:

yum clean all
yum update

That will show any Amahi and Fedora updates. If you only want to get Amahi updates, then as root user do:

yum install hda-suite

Hope that clears things up.
