hda homepage

well i got a new revo 3610 for xmas and it's a nice little bit of kit. so now i want to use amahi with it which is good.
but it kind of got me thinking about the homepage which is now password protected. something we all wished for.
now i know we can all go to http://squeeze etc for squeezecentre etc but what i would like is the homepage with all the apps displayed (that you have installed) for a one touch launch rather than having to type http://squeeze into a browser which is sort of what we have now.
what i don't want is the password protection on that page but i don't want the setup links either.
so, perhaps a homepage that just shows the apps installed etc and a seperate admin page eg http://hda/admin which is password protected like it is now. you could even add a "show on homepage" tickbox etc so that the homepage only shows the apps, shares etc that you want.
i realise that the apps etc could still be launched by typing http://squeeze for instance but a nice little homepage with icons makes it a lot easier for a htpc.
thoughts?
