Feature request

Postby marcel » Thu Oct 22, 2009 1:01 pm

should it be nice if we can reboot/shutdown the Amahi server from the webconfig? Change date, time and timezone should also be nice. Just some Thoughts.

Even though im considered to be an IT Specialist,
you shouldn't ask me linux (command) specific questions,

ah, yes, i forgot. please click on "watch" on that bug to track it.

a new tab is expensive ... we're running out of space and it does not justify a tab of it's own.

perhaps combining a system tab with the current settings? so we have system stuff and the settings?
(not sure i like it)

how about system, eating users and shares, and we have three submenus:

- system (reboot and shutdown)
- users
- shares

another idea is call the shares table "Storage" and have submenus for shares, settings (when advanced settings is on), then partitions and disks ?

that way we can remove the current storage tab and perhaps put a System tab?

I think i like your last proposal cpg. I also notice a while ago that the hard disk temperatures notification is fixed (lvm partitions). Nice!
