Home PBX

Postby amielgoldberg » Thu May 11, 2017 12:01 pm

Has the Amahi team looked into or experimented with any open source phone and pbx systems? For example: Asterisk? I'd like to use a voip at my home, as I have extensive Ethernet cabling at my home, and would like to have the phone features I enjoy at my office at my home. Eg: hold, conference calling, call parking, intercom, etc. Would seem like a natural for the Amahi team.

Yes. There have been a few attempts to make it an #Amahi app. However, there's too much involved with the install and configuration for it to be automated.

This a capability best left to manual installation and configuration.
