I'd like to use Amahi in a school setting to handle bare metal backups and DHCP reservations, but some of these schools can have upwards of 300 individual computers. I'd like to be able to have DHCP hand out IP addresses over a range like 10.228.10.3 to 10.228.14.254.

I know that isn't going to happen any time soon, but I thought I would suggest it.

we will support this. in fact, if you are willing to help make this happen, we will do it much faster!

we can tell you how to get things going.

we are evaluating what are the more "pro" features, because a number of users are interested in that.

for the time being we can help you change the netmask and range by hand.

if you decide to do this let us know. come by the IRC channel and we can go through the steps and what the UI would look like to do this.
