backup shares

Postby marcel » Wed Aug 05, 2009 1:05 pm

Is it possible to make backup module for Amahi? So we can backup our shares for example to dropbox. Or maybe there is other service to backup. WHS has a similar add-in named keepvault...

this is a great idea. we have talked to dropbox, however, we are too small for them to make an app for us.

perhaps we can also fold this in as part of the "pro" version of amahi.

im not sure if its definetly desided yet - but i think we talked about diferent backup tools,
backula i think was one of them...

if we cant convince them to 'make' the app for amahi, they may want to build it as a backula mod.... we than could use it still...

you shouldn't ask me linux (command) specific questions,
for in general i'm only able to help with more generic problems.
