hello mods,
I've been working on a newly organized Main Page for the Wiki.
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Main_Page_sf01
Please make suggestions but try not to edit it, as I'm trying to keep particular focus on it.
If this bodes well as a main page, perhaps launch it along with the Fedora 18 release?
Also, where are any new Fedora 18 articles I could add in there?

Re: mods: reworked Wiki Main Page
Nice job!! On a quick look, I like it!
I did not have a lot of say about the wiki front page, tho. It kinda evolved over time and gathers dust. We periodically tweak it.
Let's see what others say, but it looks well organized to me!

Re: mods: reworked Wiki Main Page
glad you like.
Are there other articles we need to throw in that aren't searchable anywhere?
Specific changes to do?
Go ahead and use it for F18/AMahi7 launch!

Re: mods: reworked Wiki Main Page
I was wondering about this (but as usual, it faded from my mind -- apologies for the delayed response).
For the new release, we will only release an Express Disc, so we may need to emphasize that page, though the traffic to that page comes from the main web site's user pages, so it may not be necessary to highlight it in the front page.
With the blessing of @bigfoot65, looks like we're ready to swap the main page you made into the front page!
Great job!

Re: mods: reworked Wiki Main Page
I just swapped in your changes to the main home page. Awesome work!
The one thing I notice is that we need to point new things ... like pointing to the new network troubleshooter in whatever places we need to, since that's the latest.
The wiki keeps track of everything, but I saved the old page at [wiki]Main Page 2013[/wiki].
You can eliminate your prototype page or do anything you want with it.
Again, great work and sorry it took so long.

Great!
I've merged in the network troubleshooter in my version of the page, near the top notes
so it'll have to be moved over again.

Re: mods: reworked Wiki Main Page
Thanks. I just needed to know what is the appropriate location to put it, as I am a bit out of context.
If this happens frequently we can give you the right permissions to edit the main page!
