add php-gtk support

Postby sanfelix » Sat May 19, 2012 8:31 am

There are plans to package gtk web-apps that there are installed in the server?

I'm have to edit video files in the amahi. there are a good idea to manage some apps that there are a good friendly interface and manage files in hda. There are some task dificult to script and put in the interface like mount hard disk, manage printers, that there are useful.
Do not know if it's useful because I have not tried.

Interesting. Do you know of any apps that use this extension? You can manually add any php-extension you wish to your HDA. The php manual online will tell you how to include it.

This is something we will have to check out.

A big number of linux apps are designed in gtk3. There are a great posibility to install desktop apps like web apps. In some situations, like a video editor ( dont exist a web app) there are a good metod to bring to the web. I'm have to investigate in my hda to install this. If there are practical, including in a tablet, there are a good reason to include php-gtk support and install and configure like another amahi app.

Cheers

Please let us know how it goes. If you have success and the steps are easily documented, it might be worth adding to the wiki.

Our current priority is working on Ubuntu followed by Fedora 17, so it may be a while before we have the resources available to look into it more.
