Hi kikkegek,
thanks for your suggestions!
Actually all information you mention is available today in the log file. But I agree it is not easily accessible. I think that showing the last time stamps for sleep and wakeup is useful for initial troubleshooting and is straigtforward to implement.
A graphical representation of the clients' uptime however would be a bigger project. Note that WHS has a strict relation between clients and server, whereas Amahi and Amahi Energy Saver does not really have that. I agree it's a nice and colorful graph but I don't think that it has added value - what would be the use case where such a graph provides real benefit?
Cheers,
jayrock

Check

The wake up is solely based on WOL, ie not under control of AES. Check
http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Enabling_WOL.

Version 0.8.12 is available via One-Click-Install.
With this version, it is now possible to let other apps control Amahi Energy Saver. See
http://bit.ly/q5lVoL for details.
The web app now displays the last time the HDA suspended, as well as the last time it woke up

hi,
I have run these commands as root:
Code: Select all
curl -o /usr/share/aes-lock/sabnzbd-lock.rb http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11034559/aes/aes-lock-scripts/sabnzbd-lock.rb
chmod 666 /usr/share/aes-lock/sabnzbd-lock.rb
and added the api key from sabnzbd to the 9th line of the sabnzbd-lock.rb file, but amahi energy saver nevertheless sets the server to sleep while sabnzbd is still downloading files.
I have checked and no .lock file is created when sabnzbd is downloading.
please advise

Can you please attach the log file and advise at what time the HDA suspended even though there were downloads ongoing. The latest log is in /var/log/aes.log
It is correct that no lock file is created, don't worry about that.

No problem, I'm happy that it works now.
I checked the log and it still looks a little bit strange. Can you please continue to report any problems that may occur.
Brgs,
