Hi Jayrock
I have got the calendar software installed on my windows 7 laptop and I have now added a new event to the aes.ics calendar to 10:00 to 22:00 weekdays and 07:30 to 22:00 weekends but when I disconnect the PC's that AES is watching my HDA will not power down, I have set the Shutdown Type to ACPI_S3 and Calendar is set to Ical. I have looked in the log files but I can not see why it is not powering down. I have manualy installed verson 3.1

Thanks for working on a great bit of software for the HDA.

P.S the only thing that I have not see in the log files is were AES is showing this information this stop when I setup the calendar.

Hi jayrock
The mainboard is a bespoke design my the company that I work for and I can tell you that it is got a Intel GME965 + ICH8M chipset and a Intel 2.0GHz Celeron 550, but that is about the information I have. I will paste the log file when I turn the HDA back on.

Hi mattman,

the reason I asked for mainboard type is that some boards have problems supporting some or all types of system initiated ACPI. However, if you can suspend your HDA from the Fedora menu, it should work with AES as well.

Yes, let me have the log asap, then we can dig further.

Hi Jayrock
Sorry this has taken so long but work is busy at the moment, I have pasted the log here http://fpaste.org/P38Y/ it is up for one day so I hope you get time to look as you will see the day that I started using the calendar is the day the ping command stop showing in the log.

Jayrock,

I'm currently running the released 0.8.2b rollup and having issues with the aes daemon dieing. It looks like alot has been done to correct early death and restart issues in git, so I haven't T/S. That said, you have posted a tarball since 0.8.2b, so there's probably a reason.

Most of the work over the past few days has been gui/web-app related, so I'm assuming the daemon itself is fairly complete with only the packaging remaining - will there be a one-click release soon or can you recommend a branch tag that is relatively stabil? Is master usable at this point?

Hi rjwaldren,

yes, I've been working a lot with One-Click install recently. I think it works pretty well, however we need a little more testing. If this goes well, it will be release soon, but it's really hard to estimate now. I want to release it asap but it's also a team decision.

The master branch should be very stable by now, however note that first you have to deinstall any old installation before installing the latest master.

Cheers,

jayrock

kikkegek,

I cannot help without log files. Please send your log file /var/hda/web-apps/aes/html/lib/aes.log

http://hda:6500 only works for earlier versions. For versions installed via the application store, the address is either http://aes/ or http://aes.home.com.

Can you access other applications via dashboard? There may be a general problem with accessing applications.
