If / when a mail server gets added to Amahi as an app, I think Postfix + PostfixAdmin is a nice mix.

PostfixAdmin is a small PHP app that allows everyone to manage their email accounts (real or virtual/forwarded).

Users can manage their own preferences, domain administrators can manage their domain, plus there's superadmin users who can manage everything and create new domains & domain administrators.

it does look interesting.

i wonder how it does privilege escallation to be able to manage the postfix settings.

for simple settings, postfix is super easy. in my case, comcast does require some authentication, which is a pain to setup. i also wonder if this program would help with that.

just want an MTA for outgoing mail. no incoming mail.

This is for incoming emails only.
It's not a tool to configure postfix settings.
