Has anyone successfully setup amahi in a virtual machine? I have installed Fedora and amahi in a VM using virtualbox. however, does not appear in my Control Panel (amahi.org) nor does other PCs on my network find it. I am wondering if such a setup requires some special configuration?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

I use VirtualBox and run Amahi as a VM. You have to create a new profile for the VM first. Then ensure you have the correct gateway and IP address identified. It will be a 10.x.x.x address.

You can find the VM IP address by entering ifconfig in terminal of the VM. It will tell you the specifics that you need to enter on Amahi.org. This is the same place you would have obtained the install code.

If you had already done all this, please provide more specifics so I can further assist you with this issue.

I will create a new profile. I was trying to use an old one, but that may be the source of one problem.
Thank you,

I will post back with questions or success.
