Amahi Forums

Hi All,

I'm new to Amahi and I'm starting to comb thru the forums for this.

Has anyone tried to Install Amahi on a ClarkConnect 5.0 distro? Since the CC box seems really stable and sits on CentOS 5 something. I would love to see the two play together on the same box and pull from the strengths from each. I really don't want to have have one (or both) in a VM since I'm trying to make things a bit more simple not complex.

Or is there plans to have a more robust Firewall/proxy/IDS/IPS solution since that is what really ties me to my CC box.

I would like to Beta test something, but don't have the skills to "Port".

if i was going down that route, i think i'd choose clarkconnect and just do the installs manually. amahi is aimed at a totally different audience and is designed to be within a secured network whereas clarkconnect can be on the perimetre.
i would imagine there would be issues trying this and a vm would be the place to give it a shot.
