Fedora 27

Postby genel » Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:30 am

I am currently running Amahi 11 on Fedora 27. I run a backup program (duplicati). The newest version requires mono at least version 5. Current versions only appear to be available for Fedora 28 and Fedora 29.

So I have the following questions:
Can I upgrade an Amahi 11 system to a later version of Fedora?
Is there a schedule for Amahi 12?
If Amahi 12 is coming, what version of Fedora will it use?

Thanks for any help.

No. Only works with Fedora 27.
Is there a schedule for Amahi 12?
It’s currently under development but no timeline for release.
If Amahi 12 is coming, what version of Fedora will it use?
Likely will be Fedora 31.

Unfortunately our team is small, 2-3 dedicated folks to develop and test Amahi.

Wished I could tell you the new version will be released soon, but I don’t know how long it’ll be since our team is small and scattered across the globe. Development is not very active at the moment.
