CLOSED: Terminal, as root
CLOSED: Terminal, as root
Okay, I'm new to Linux and I'm taking it slow. I'm beginning the process of adding disks to the Grey Pool but I need to open a Terminal as root. I don't remember adding a root password in the installation process. How do I get past that "authentication failure" problem when I need to open a terminal as root?

Okay, that worked. Should I add and partition all the drives before installing Greyhole? I have 6 drives and an SSD. I have installed Greyhole so, if needed, I will uninstall and reinstall.
Re: Terminal, as root
Works best that way, but not mandatory.
You should be able to do it with Greyhole installed.
