Re: Share DVD Drive on HDA
You can create a share and then change the path to point to the mount point for the CD/DVD drive.can I share the DVD drive on my HDA box over the network?
A CD/DVD drive in Windows can also be shared on the network for client machines to access.
There are a few tutorials on the internet as well.

Re: Share DVD Drive on HDA
Thanks Big. My HDA desktop machine is the only comp in my house with a DVD drive now.............rather than buy an external USB DVD, I thought I would share the HDA one.

Re: Share DVD Drive on HDA
No problem.
It should not be too difficult to do based on what I read on the internet.
If you have time, it would be appreciated if you could add something to the wiki.
