Not been here for a while since all has been running good.
Finally got around to upgrading to Amahi 8 and have managed to get TigerVNC working with Cinnamon Desktop.
I'll be updating the WIKI page i did for TigerVNC shortly.

Good to hear.
Please ensure you identify in the instructions which Amahi 8 Install guidance you followed. Past experience has shown some install methods work with VNC and others do not.

I have finally gotten VNC to work with Amahi9/F23.
The thing I had to do different was with the desktop environment. Supposedly Cinnamon was already installed but I couldn't find where it was located. Instead of using Cinnamon I used LXDE which seems to be extremely lightweight for my older hardware.
To install LXDE:

Hope this helps. The only reason I need it is for Crashplan. Still bashing my head against the wall to make the remote control work but this gets my off-site backup working in the meantime.
