I think I made a big mistake!

I installed the xfce GUI following the instructions here:> ( https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/GUI_In ... press_Disc) and now my system will not start it just sits at the _ prompt and does nothing
Is there a way to undo the installation or point to the mulit-user text interface again?
I have access to the files with a Ubuntu 14.04 LTS installation on the same machine (different drive).
Or do I need to reinstall Amahi 7?

You will need to reinstall. There is no undo for something as intrusive as installing Desktop.

BTW, we no longer support Amahi 7. If you must reinstall, Amahi 8 is best.

Great and hope it goes well.

Recommend you stay away from installing a desktop. Not supported in Amahi 8.
