Access denied for new share in windows

I used the Disk WIzard app to add a 2tb HDD. I mounted the drive then made a new share. I copied the file path where the 2tb HDD is located. Everything seemed to work. However, when in windows, I can map all the other shares (which are just going to the 16gb USB) except the new share that routes to the 2tb HDD. When I "map a network drive" it allows it to be mapped, but when I attempt to copy files, it says access denied. Does anyone have the same issue and if so, how to I fix it?
