hi restarted Amahi and my screen says

grup-rescue

any thoughts

Need some more details here.

Is this a new install? Was there a power outage? What were the circumstances that led to this reboot?

new install adding second hard drive
when it came up

That typically means you did something wrong with the new drive in /etc/fstab most likely.

Recommend you comment out the entry you added and then try rebooting. If it works, you will need to trace your steps to see where things went wrong.
