Amahi 7 energy saver

I'm running my server 24/7, but i'm not using my server 24/7. Nevertheless, I don't know when somebody needs to access the server, so I cannot turn it down.

Does anybody knows if there is a method to save energy (some kind of scheme within fedora or some program that can be installed)?

Ideally I would like to have something with the features that once were in the Amahi Energy Saver https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_Energy_Saver but, according to the wiky, are no longer supported in amahi 6 and 7.

Any help decreasing my electricity bill would be appreciated...

Unfortunately there is not one simple solution here. You are correct in the Amahi Energy Saver app no longer is supported for Ubuntu or Amahi 7. The author has not been available to make updates for the current Amahi OS unfortunately.

My advice would be to check the internet for help here. One thing you can do is customize some drive settings that will reduce activity which helps save energy. There are probably many tweaks that can be done, just have to find them and add to the Amahi wiki. We would appreciate anything you could add.

I will try to see if I can find some guidance and add it to the wiki.

Sorry if this does not help much.

That is one source. Google may yield additional results.
