Why we do not use Tapatalk for the forums

We often get asked to install Tapatalk in our forums. Here is why:
1) Tapatalk requires direct access to our user DB. That's just not something we take lightly. We do not share our user emails or any other information with anyone.
2) Any security problem in their end means trouble (has happened before with them)
3) We have made a customization to the forum for single-login with amahi.org. This makes it easier for new users and avoids spammers altogether
4) We have a mobile skin for the forums that makes them look nice and uber-fast on mobile devices. Here is what it looks like:
