HDAconnect Windows8

Is there a HDAconnect client which is compatible with Windows 8?

Not at the moment. However, I seem to recall that someone tried it at the desktop and it was working.

Do you mean to say that it's not working or that it does not have W8-specific features?
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1

I was just asking because I'm thinking of moving to Windows 8 but wanted to ensure there was a client for Windows 8 before I migrated.

In short, we do not have that yet, unfortunately.
I do not recall if the person reporting (via IRC), had to hack to get it to work or not.

FYI Just sucessfully installed HDAconnect on Win 8 64bit.
Simply used "right click" Run as Administrator to install.
My HDA: Pentium dual cpu E2200 @2.2GHz 4GB of Ram, 1T+1,5T hard drive.
