clamav outdated

hi guys,

I get frequent root message about clamav.

and when I ran freshclam today from an xterm i got this:

That is normal. Also Amahi does not install clamAV so I presume you added it yourself.

That is normal. Also Amahi does not install clamAV so I presume you added it yourself.

I checked. It came with the Amahi Mail System install

Ah yes it did. Did not realize you had installed that app. That's another app that I need to update, but gonna be a while as so much has changed with Ubuntu and Fedora 18.

Not sure if it will ever make it live due to the complexity of the app. Never a guarantee it will work or not mess up the HDA.

ok, well the only reason I ever installed the AMS is because I want root-messages to be forwarded to an external gmail account.

is there a easier way?

Yes, you can do it via Gmail by following the tutorials in the wiki.
