We cannot help without details. What OS are you running with Amahi? Is this a new install? Did you modify something?

Right amahi is running off ubuntu server 12.04 lts. my router is a linksy router running dd-wrt, the router current has dhcp turned on. also set to yes as DHCP-Authoritative.

On the amahi box i turned watch dog off and start at boot off for both dns and dhcp but they both start at boot even tho looking in setting for amahi it says not to start them.

what other info will be usefull. nothing I can do to my router to get interent back?

To disable DHCP/DNS on the HDA, follow the wiki guidance.

http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Turning_off_DHCP

Also note the capability loss when using router vs HDA DHCP/DNS server in your network.
