Something wrong - locked out of my Amahi web interface

Everything seemed to be working well today as usual. Amahi was doing it's DNS/DHCP work and also serving up all the shares I need in the house. I decided I wanted to backup some important material to an external USB drive and take it offsite for some long term storage. Anyway, I pulled data from the box over the network and onto an external drive attached to my workstation all day long. I finished up and thought all was well. Not so.

My problem is now I cannot mount any of my shares. I also cannot log in to my HDA through the web interface. I've tried all of the users in the system and none of them will gain access. Amahi just says "Error: Incorrect username or password". I know this is not the case, so I am confused.

I used SSH to get in to the server and rebooted it. That did not fix anything. Amahi is still providing the DNS/DHCP, but I cannot mount shares, nor can I login to the web interface and moderate the server. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated. I am using Fedora 14. Thanks.

So I used this:

/var/hda/platform/html/script/reset-user-password -u <username>

To reset my password. I would rather have figured out what went wrong, and now I needed to reset everyone's password on the system too. Very odd. Anyway, I'm back in and the shares are mounting again. For more information on this command, I found it in the wiki here:

Not sure what could have went wrong. Can't say I have heard of anyone having a similar problem with Fedora 14.

You could check the log files. Of course since you have already reset the passwords, probably does not matter now.
