Thanks for all that helped testing this release, which went out late last Thursday!

A couple of extra bugs were squished since we asked you guys to help shake bugs!

This platform release (v3.3) takes care of a few fixes and improves a number of things, namely:

- it substantially improves the HDA search (with all files, audio, video and pictures) and adds web search (bug 24)
http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/364883/Amahi/search.png (it can be improved substantially still - a little project in its own!)
- implements a download cache for applications to speed installs (great for developers/testers) (bug 172/174).
- user password change (yay!) (bug 22)
- allow user names (and passwords) different for databases, needed for some apps (bug 160)
- improved checks on the server side to prevent creating system accounts (bug 156)
- fold webapp menu into the Apps tab for simplicity (bug 75)
- fix for adding an external alias (bug 52)
- some additions to support the eGroupware suite of apps
- fixes for when networking is unavailable (bugs 48 & 109)

Next ... some (tentative) support for firewall control! :)

Thanks!

Do we, the users, have to do anything to get this? Or is it automatic, without the "MS-Windows-allways-reboot-after update"

You do not have to do anything for the hda updates, it will automatically update on its own. As for the fedora updates you have to do that. Either on the command line or login to the system itself.
